Comments from MARS:
Jeffrey has shown good sportsmanship and enthusiasm in the series. We hope to see him in the series for many years to come.
Career Highlights:
I started my "running career" twenty years ago on May 2, 1988 when I was accepted to the JV Track Squad at Memorial H.S. My sophomore year I joined the Cross Country team on the JV Squad and after taking 1st place in a home meet I was bumped up to Varsity where I remained until I graduated. I lettered 3 times in Cross Country and 3 times in track. My Senior year we didn't have a Varsity CC coach so we trained ourselves and as a result ended up going to State and winning. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to compete due to a stress fracture which occurred two weeks prior to the Conference meet, which I still competed in, though under heavy amounts of doctor prescribed pain medication. The following spring I won the 1600m at the All-City Indoor Track Meet at the UW Dome.
Hobbies:
Playing drums
Doing errands with my two boys
Watching movies
