Tom started running when he was 44 and is quite competitive in the local area for his experience level. As a first year competitor, he has already competed in almost every race within the first half of the series.

Career Highlights:
Started running in 1999 at age 44. Ran 3 races and injured foot. Gained 50 pounds and didn't run very much until 2007.
Lost 50 pounds in 2006 - 2007.
Ran 2 races in 2007.
Ran 8 races in 2008. Ran first Marathon in Lake Geneva - May 10, 2008.
