I have accomplished all the goals that I previously set out to do. So, the first order of business is to come up with a new list. In the short-term, I plan to travel abroad. While I've grown attached to Madison, I've always aspired to move elsewhere -- if only temporary. If I lived on the West Coast, I could run year round, right?
I have worked as a technical consultant for the past ten years; providing leadership and automating business practices for many of the larger companies around town. Recently, I took the leap and started my own business with my brother and a friend. It's been going very well.
Fortunately, all my times are set at levels that I can continue to beat. At the same time, my improvement is exponential. The furthest I ever ran was the Ashland Marathon last year. However, I am most proud of the 20 mile jog I did with my dog last Saturday -- as it marks the further we've gone as a pair.
Running is just one of many. I now go on theme park tours regularly. I'm also so entrenched in the world of music that I dabble in rock journalism on the side. So much so that it's closer to a full-time hobby or a part-time job.
